The finalists are in for The Parks Mall at Arlington’s Celebrate Teachers!, a program that the shopping center launched in March to recognize top-performing teachers in the community. The names of the nominated teachers will be posted at www.facebook.com/theparksatarlington beginning Thursday, April 10 and individuals can vote for a favorite teacher through Tuesday, April 22.
The teacher receiving the most votes on the The Parks Mall at Arlington’s Facebook page will receive a $500 mall gift card on National’s Teacher’s Day which is Tuesday, May 6.
“Judging by the numbers of nominations we received for teachers in our Celebrate Teachers! campaign, there’s no doubt that the Arlington area is teeming with rock-star quality educators,” says Debi Martinez, marketing manager for The Parks Mall at Arlington. “The finalists have been selected and now, it’s time to vote! We will announce the top vote-getter on National Teacher’s Day in May.”
All finalists are part-time or full-time, state-licensed teachers who work in a pre-k to 12th grade nonprofit school (public or private). The school must be located within 75 miles of The Parks Mall at Arlington. See www.theparksatarlington.com for official rules.
